Hello everyone! For those of you who dont know, Im in Australia right now for my summer holidays. Its my third day and ive already bought tons of items (which i'll do a collective blog post on after my holiday) but for now, im gonna blog on the (not so) few items I got from Priceline. Priceline is a local Australian pharmacy that sells everything from cosmetics, medicines, perfumes and skincare products. My plan was just to get a few essential toiletries I left back home but when I saw Rimmel, PLAN OVER.
For the Rimmel products I got, lets start with the ever famous Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. I got it in the shade Soft Beige. Im honestly not good with picking the right colour and I tend to get lazy to try on drugstore make up so I got the one that I think was close to my skin colour.
Ive heared tons of positive stuff about this foundation so I decided to pick up a bottle and see for myself. It has great coverage and a tiny drop of this would go a real long way.
Rimmel Wake me Up concealer. Ive heard & seen so much of this from Zoe and Tanya's videos and blogs so I also grabbed a tube of it. I got it in the shade Classic Beige. It actually does conceal blemishes really well and I love it. Im so taking back tons of tubes of this back home.
I got this Stay Matte pressed powder to help set my foundation. It helps reduce my face's oiliness concidering my T-zone tends to get really oily. Dust on a few of this and youre good to go! I prefer this one over my collection compact poweder I got a few weeks back but both of them are really good!
One of my favourite things I got today was this Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in the colour Pink Blush.
Ive been looking for the perfect pink colour I wanted for my lips and ive just found the ONE! This shade reminds me of Tanya Burr for some reason. I dont know if its just me or but when I wear this lipstick it gives this tan effect to my face I dont really know hahah.
Next up is this eyeshadow pallete. I dont know why I actually picked up this brand like there was a wide selection but ok whatever.
I got a new eyeshadow palette because I left my mac ones at home which came with the lighter shades. I carried with me this LancĂ´me one that came in darker shades. I havent exactly tried this on yet but I just realised they were too shiny when I got home but i'll try to make it work out.
Mum said Australis was a good local make up brand in Australia so I decided to pick up this primer.
I really got enticed by this because of its claim that it fights acne. I havent really tried it out yet but it seems to be in demand so hopefully it would come out great.
Another primer I got was this L'oreal Base Magicque one
Ive already tried using this way back but recently, I couldnt find any more of these being sold in the market so i decided to a pot of it while I am here. This is one of my favourite primers of all time.
Next up are the neutrogena products. First is this oil-free moisturiser for combination skin.
I got this pore refining toner that would hopefully reduce my pores.
Ive just started using it less than a week ago so no results have been really evident yet but I think it would work after a few weeks or so since Neutrogena is a really great brand.
I got really intrigued by this and decided to get a box
So this Casting Sunkiss Jelly from L'oreal is somehow like a safer and milder form of bleach. Its a leave on jelly that lightens your hair permanently. Its like those famous sun-in things that works wonders on hair. I got Lush's Caca Rouge recently and tried it on. It worked but I wasnt that satisfied with the change on my hair because its really dark. This gel was intended for dark hair so hopefully this would finally work on my hair.
Save the best for last huh? This is unexpectedly my favourite among all of them today. This tiny roll on bottle of Taylor Swift's Enchanted Wonderstruck.
I have the completed all her fragrances but they all come in those huge, heavy bottles so I got really happy when I saw this tiny roll on tube of it. It comes in this 10 ml tube and its really handy to carry with you throughout the day. And guess what it only cost me $12.00! So Enchanted Wonderstruck has this sweet floraly-vanilla scent that I really really love.
So thats the end of my Priceline haul for today. I got a little carried away and spent $112.00 for all of them but theyre really worth it so I dont actually mind. Im really Enjoying Australia so far and I dont wanna go back home anymore oops! Thank you once again for reading this kinda long blog post and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed shopping for them!
xx
