This is the Gold Coast and Brisbane part of my trip. I put these two places together since there isnt much to see in Brisbane. Same with the Sydney blog, im gonna list down all the fun & must visit places during your stay in Gold Coast. Gold Coast is like LA while Sydney is like NYC. If I was given the opportunity, I would visit Gold Coast first before Sydney but I have no choice since our flight back is in Brisbane.
GOLD COAST
TAMBOURINE MOUNTAIN
There are tons of stores up there and places where you can eat. There are also activities to do there like the sky walk but we opted not to do it since we had to go back down to prepare for a party.
You totally must try these fudge bars. Theyre one of the best things ive ever tasted.
Theyre quite sweet so its ideal to share it with someone. But you MUST try these stuff.
For the theme parks, I advice you get this annual pass which comes out cheaper than purchasing a ticket (and you can go back limitlessly)
my pass was a VIP annual one for all 3 theme parks above. Warner Bros Movie World, Sea World & Wet n Wild.
WARNER BROS MOVIE WORLD
WET 'N WILD WATER THEME PARK
This is the theme park that my little brother and I enjoyed the most. It has around 20+ attractions and again slides for all ages. They recently opened this section called the wet 'n wild junior which is literally like a playground with water. It also has a mini version of the tornado.
This is really a must visit! I advice you to go when the sun is up because it tends to get really cold but still bearable.
SEAWORLD
SUFERS PARADISE
AUSTRALIA FAIR
BRISBANE
Brisbane was roughly an hour and thirty minutes away from Gold Coast by car. It was a really good a quick ride, going to Brisbane, you will pass by this huge IKEA store on your left which I advise you to stop by and grab a few stuff. I wasnt able to visit much places in brisbane though since time restriction.
BRISBANE WHEEL
That wraps up the whole duration of my month long trip to Australia! I really had so much fun and I cant wait to be back for good (hopefully) in a few years! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed making it!
